The Holidays

I’m slowly catching up on these events! Forgive me 🙂

My Christmas haul this year was impressive, if I must say so myself 😉 My sister got me a MAC 217 brush ! 😀 Freaking awesome. I’m in LOVE with this brush. I chose the 217 since it’s a nice multi-tasking kinda brush – very useful 🙂

Being made from goat hair, it’s sooooo soft and my shadows now just glide on without having the need for me to pack the shadows onto the brush. It picks up just the right amount of shadow 🙂

Every year, I anticipate for just one day – Boxing Day. Why? Cos the Boxing Day sales are the shiznit 😛 This year was kinda disappointing but I did pick up a few bargains.

Jeans for $70, scarves for $10 & $5, the white pair of shoes were $20 & the pewter heels were a pressie from the mother ($140 or so down to $60!).

These SIREN heels are my new babies ♥ So comfortable thanks to their thick heel 😀 Peeptoe, buttons, patent – everything I want.

My bestie S got me a diary & MAC eyeshadow for Christmas 🙂 She was my KK as well thus 2 pressies. S I know you’re reading this so I just wanna say thank you sosososososososososo much for the presents. They were very thoughtful and very ‘me’ 🙂

How cute is this Christmas card she gave me? Adorable. Like HER!

A 2009 diary & MAC eyeshadow in Bamboo. Bamboo is lovely 🙂 It’s the perfect neutral colour for my lids – I think it’s the same shade as my lids. Great for my “no make-up” days 😛

After Christmas is what?
NEW YEARS! I hope you all had a great time celebrating 🙂 I sure did! Spent it with X and we ate til I couldn’t eat anymore, haha.
Got home at 5am & was so tired! My relatives decided to head to Rockdale around lunchtime for “fun”. Rockdale is a beautiful area ♥ I want to live there sometime in the future.
We ate, sunbaked, got burnt, shared plenty of laughs, went for a stroll on the beach & the parents entertained themselves by playing some card games. Gamblers – tsk.

A stunning view. Picture perfect 🙂

Love.

Can I just say that I adore these end of year/beginning of year celebrations? I get to spend so much time with my immediate and extended family ♥ We used to head out somewhere every weekend but as time goes by, the occurances of such events have decreased 😦

The past Sunday, 3 families (including mine) drove to Jamberoo 😀 Despite WSHS holding a number of excursions at Jamberoo, I’ve never been, lol.

We arrived there pretty early and towards the middle of the day, it was SOOOO bloody packed. Packed as in 5 minutes waiting lines! Geez 😦 We didn’t get to go on a few rides cos it was boiling hot & well, waiting in line for 5 minutes for a 1 minute ride in the sun = sunburnt!

The ‘Rapid River’ or whatever was the shittest! WTF? It wasn’t even fast let alone rapid. Stupid nongs! No “bucking rapids”, nothing!

Sharkie 😉 We saw someone dressed up as the shark and they were sitting in them golf carts thingies. The shark drove past & a visitor was like ‘Hey Sharkie!’. Took the shark like, 5 seconds to wave. Haha, too hot for the person in the costume 😛

In the end, I had fun even though I’m now about 3 shades darker, haha. But that’s what Summer is all about!

Take care my lovelies 🙂
