Review – MAC Spiced Chocolate quad

The Spiced Chocolate quad was released with last year’s Cult of Cherry collection.

Descriptions by MAC:

Nanogold – Sheer yellow beige with pink pearl (Lustre) (Repromote from N Collection)
Brash – Frosty reddish copper (Veluxe Pearl)
Sweet Chestnut – Frosted cranberry (Frost)
Spiced Chocolate – Deep reddish brown (Matte)

Ah, my lemming finally squashed. But with some disappointment 😦 Very warm colours but very little combinations you could come up with. Swatches were done with just one swipe, no base.

My thoughts…
– Didn’t really like the pay off of Spiced Chocolate – maybe cos it’s a matte.
– Nanogold barely showed up on me.
– Love Brash and Sweet Chestnut – very deep pigmentation and smooth texture.

First two pictures – without flash & then with flash…

Finger lickin’ good 😉

Two close-ups of the swatches. You can kind of see the pink shimmer in Nanogold.
