Korres Lip Butters – HG

If it wasn’t for the internet, I would not have known about this little gem from Korres.

Korres, a relatively new and unheard brand, was set up in Greece in 1996 with most of its ingredients derived from Mother Nature herself.

Their lip butters are:

A buttery lip balm that melts on the lips and offers a shiny, tinted finish. The combination of Shea butter and Rice wax offers deep hydration and softness. Ideal for chapped lips. Comes in 4 delicious shades that offer a subtle colour for the ultimate kissable lips.

I first heard of this brand from The Lip Print and whilst I was at the QVB last year, I decided to purchase Quince on a whim.

I love how moisturising this lip butter is and bonus points for being tinted! I apply this whenever my lips are dry and the next day, they’re smooth as 😀 Once applied, you get glossy coloured lips and in a couple of hours, they’re moisturised.

One con about the lip butters is that they’re in tubs which means it’s a little unsanitary to be dipping your fingers in there. I use a lip brush but it’s still not as sanitary. I’d prefer this to be in a stick form – which apparently they do have on the Greek website?

For $18.95AUD, you get 0.21oz of product. The only comparable product I can think of are MAC tendertones which are $35AUD and you get 0.2oz of goodies for your lips.

The lip butters do have a (sweet) scent but it’s not an overwhelming smell 🙂

Quince is a sheer rosy shade and Wild Rose is a sheer deep red shade.

Korres lip butters are available at Kit Cosmetics for $18.95AUD

    >@Krissy – Quince really is something. It leaves a nice pink tint on my lips which doesn't look so weird when I'm not wearing any other make up 🙂
