Does Limited Edition Packaging Suck You In? (Picture Heavy)

Cos it sure does suck me in!

I remember seeing the MAC Give Me Liberty of London collection recently at my local MAC counter and not really caring. Yet fast forward a couple of weeks and I ended up purchasing the Perennial High Style lipglass from the GMLOL just because of the packaging! LOL but seriously, I don’t think I’d really use the lipglass only because I hate that sticky feeling on my lips. I much prefer lipsticks 🙂

The packaging is so pretty. The cardboard packaging is even pretty as well! It’s got the birds and the flowers and everything! And guess what? They’re not stickers :O Yep! The outer packaging actually slips off and reveals a plain white cardbord box for the lipglass:

And check this out:

They even made the inside of the cardboard packaging pretty too! A+ for effort, MAC 🙂

Now, onto the lipglass itself (I know, I know. All this time and it was just for the packaging!). Perennial High Style is described as

creamy bright pink coral

and it’s definitely creamy, bright, pink and coral. Hooray for an on target description 😀

I really hate anything more than shimmer on my lips and that’s pushing it but this lipglass is lovely – a creamy coral on my lips without being too overwhelming AND no shimmer!

    >These photos look great! I wasn't a fan of the stock photos for this collection (AT ALL,) but you've made it look just lovely here 🙂

    >@Rae – I wasn't interested in the collection either! The colours didn't seem like my thing but after looking through swatches and reviews, I was tempted LOL
