Review: MAC Cremesheen Glass

>
..if the hype around their recent collections is anything to go by. First, Ripe Peach and then it was Marine Life and now Stereo Rose.

Anyways, one of my new favourite products from MAC are the cremesheen glasses which first debut in the CreamTeam collection and there is now a permanent collection of them.

A lip finish that fuses the creamy, sheen-filled nature of Cremesheen Lipstick with the shine of M∙A∙C Lipglass. Soft, comfortable, non-sticky. Applies with a doe-foot applicator. Use as a top layer to its namesake Lipstick or on its own.

Overall rating: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Packaging quality: 4/5
Would I buy this again? Yes.

WHAT IS IT? A creamy lipgloss by MAC.
HOW DO YOU USE IT? Use the doe-foot applicator and apply the gloss on your lips.
WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? The cremesheen glasses are housed in a lengthened tube. It has a doe-foot applicator.
PRICE: $43AUD/$18USD for 2.4ml/0.08 fl oz
TEXTURE AND/OR SMELL: The texture is thick without being too sticky and creamy (duh!) and of course, no sparklies or shimmeries. It has the signature MAC vanilla-scent which exists in most, if not all, their lip products.
MY OPINION: I’ll quickly review the 3 which I have.

Boy Bait
– very nice nude. It’s a creamy beige nude and despite MAC saying it has some “pearl” in it, you can *hardly* see it unless you’re having a staring contest with Boy Bait.

Deelight
– perfect mlbb colour on me. It’s a creamy pinky brown mix and looks great for youe nautral make up days.

Partial to Pink
– i’m usually not a fan of pink lip products but this isn’t too garish which I like. On my lips, it shows as a medium pink and again, it does have shimmer but I mean, they’re so so SO subtle, you wouldn’t know that they’re there 😛

General thoughts; my gripe with the cremesheen glasses is the fact that they contain less product than the lipglasses and yet they cost more! Other than that, they are the perfect glosses for me – creamy and not too shimmery.

And of course, swatches:
