First one is Amazon Princess. This is described as “bright yellow pink/deep blue pink with gold pearl”. The textures of both the blushes in this compact is satin.
I love how finely milled MAC’s blushes are. They’re not chunky, are decently pigmented and, on my cheeks, they last at least 8 hours.
MAC has come out with blush duos before way back when but the difference between the previously released blush duos and these Wonder Woman blush duos is the fact that MAC, for some odd reason, decided not to just split the 2 shades equally in the pan. One side is larger and therefore easier to use but that small section? Kinda hard to get.
The first thing you’ll notice about most of the MAC Wonder Woman items is that they’re supersized. In the powder blush duos case, you get 0.38oz/11g of product compared to the usual 0.21oz/6g of product MAC usually offers in their blushes. Yes, the price is higher than usual but when you think about it – you’re paying an extra $5.50usd/$4aud for what is essentially nearly double the product. Oh, and you get a mirror lol 🙂
Ok. I have no idea why some people are bitching and moaning about the packaging. I think the packaging reflects really well on the classic Wonder Woman style and if you have a problem with it, take it up with DC Comics. C’mon people?! MAC went along with the classics and yet there’s still a problem. With Venomous Villains, it was because they weren’t classic enough. Some people just need something to bitch about. /rant
