MAC Wonder Woman: Mineralize Skinfinish

Slowly going through my MAC Wonder Woman haul.

Next we have the jumbo sized mineralize skinfinishes. And like the blushes, these do cost a bit extra than normal and once again, you do get more product. Usual mineralize skinfinishes retail for $28usd/$47aud and in return, you get 0.35oz/10g of product. But for these Wonder Woman mineralize skinfinishes, you’ll get 0.70oz/20g but you’ll be handing over $35usd/$58aud.

These are huge. Seriously.

Compared to a normal MAC mineralize skinfinish (middle).

The mineralize skinfinishes, unlike the normal ones, come with 3 shades which I would classify as a blush, bronzer and highlighter. Due to their enormous pan sizes, it makes it quite easy to use the shades individually or together.

Golden Lariat

True coral with fine gold shimmer/Soft suntanned bronze/Soft gold with fine shimmer

has a yellow-gold with white shimmer (highlighter) with a red terracotta brown for the bronzing shade. The blusher shade is a mix between apricot and coral with gold shimmer.

The other mineralize skinfinish available is Pink Power

Peachy rose with pink shimmer/Soft rosy bronze/Soft shell pink with fine shimmer

which has a white gold with shimmer for a highlighting shade and, as MAC put it simply, a “rosy bronze” for the bronzer. A shimmery pink is what you’ll find as the blusher shade in Pink Power.

Overall, Golden Lariat, as you can see from the swatches, is more orange-based compared to the pinky-peach of Pink Power. The highlighting shades in both the mineralize skinfinishes had noticeable shimmer but not the chunky noticeable kind, if that makes sense? Whereas the bronzer shades had a really soft and subtle sheen and the blusher shades had shimmer but very soft and fine shimmer so as to add a nice glow to your face.

I think it was a great idea to include 3 shades in these as it adds a bit more value and makes it a bit easier to hand over the $35usd/$58aud. However, not too sure why MAC didn’t add a mirror to these ones! Would have been handy.
