Every once in a while, MAC releases a new product/product type. This time, it’s the greasepaint sticks and I was able to get my hands on B, one of the three available.
A smooth and creamy black eye crayon with an opalescent sparkle finish specially formulated for maximum drama. Easily provides ultra-high-level coverage. Versatile. Use as a soft but intense liner or blend out to create a smoke-like shadow. Long-wearing. Transfer and water-resistant.
Quick thoughts:
– They were released with the recent DSquared collection.
– Packaging wise, they’re similar to MAC’s current shadesticks.
– Available in:
*B: Bright yellow blue
*V: Bright blue violet
*Black: Intense black
– Retails for $17.50USD/$38AUD
– Really smooth to apply and easy to build intensity.
– Once it’s dried, it becomes a bit ‘tacky’ to touch.
– Budge proof once you give it a few seconds to adhere to skin and dry.
And now, let’s compare the colour to some other blues from MAC:
There’s a good similarity between Flashtrack and a swipe of the greasepaint stick in B. However, the greasepaint stick has more intensity.
And finally, it’s awesomeness!
